This is an edited volume which focuses on the socio-linguistics of contact linguistics. Topics such as language contact phenomenon, theories related to code-switching and code-mixing, and quantitative analysis are examined. The influences of specific hip-hop lyrics and writing styles, and an examination of idiomatic expressions in two languages and their similarities are also discussed.
