This book continues the discussion from Volume 1 on the general considerations regarding global changes and contemporary economic issues in Asian countries in real terms. It offers a collection of original conference papers from the annual international conferences on “Contemporary economic issues in Asian countries” (CEIAC Conference) commenced in 2022 in collaboration with CIFOR-ICRAF, Sungkyunkwan University (Korea), and Tamkang University (Taiwan). The theme of the CEIAC Conference 2022 deals with broad aspects of the contemporary economic issues in Asian countries. It covers topics such as economics and business (economic theory, national and international income distribution, macroeconomic policies, sectors of economy, productivity developments, financial market, business governance, bank financing, etc.), green economy and sustainable development (developing process, development policy, public policy, sustainable growth, green growth, etc.), and international tradeand investment (international trade theory, free trade agreements, tariffs, intellectual property, international law, etc.). 
The book would interest a wide array of professors, researchers, lecturers, students in fields of economics, consultants, and decision makers interested in the issues related to economic issues in Asia.

Notă biografică

Nguyen An Thinh who guided and performed an impressive series of economics, sustainable development and climate change projects in Vietnam. Currently professor Nguyen An Thinh is in charge of Dean of Faculty of Development Economics, VNU University of Economics and Business, Hanoi. Professor Nguyen An Thinh is the editor-in-chief of the books “Human ecology of climate change hazards in Vietnam”, “Global Changes and Sustainable Development in Asian Emerging Market Economies: Proceedings of EDESUS 2019” (Vol. 1 & Vol. 2) published by Springer in 2019 and 2021.

Pham Thu Thuy is a senior scientist who leads the Climate Change, Energy and Low-Carbon Development team at CIFOR-ICRAF. Her research focuses on the political economy of forest governance and climate change policies, including low-emission development strategies, payment for environmental services, reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, addressing the poverty-environment nexus, environmental and social justice, sustainable wetlands management, social forestry, wildlife conservation and social inclusion. She has also led and coordinated global climate change research and established a strong professional networks in Asian developing countries.

Joon Song is a professor in the Department of Economics, Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea. His previous position was a lecturer in the Department of Economics, Essex University, UK.

Yen-Ling Lin is Economics Ph.D. and Education Ph.D. She is the Chair of Department of Economics, Tamkang University, Taiwan. Her major research fields are labour market and higher education. Professor Yen-Ling Lin is guest editor of the SSCI Journal Sustainability in 2022 to 2023.

Dong Manh Cuong is an expert in financial econometrics. Currently Dr. Dong Manh Cuong Thinh is a lecturer in the Faculty of Development Economics, VNU University of Economics and Business, Hanoi.
