Recenzii
"Years of scholarship and clinical practice are the foundation on which Dr. Butch Losey’s book Creating an Effective Couple Therapy Practice is built. It is a practical, research-based text that is user friendly, easy to read, interesting, and pertinent to any clinician working with couples. Losey shows, through case examples and dialogue, what effective therapists do in working with couples."
Samuel T. Gladding, professor of counseling, Wake Forest University
"Dr Losey has done a great job of summarizing many of the complex issues a therapist must keep in mind if s/he wants to be successful in helping couples. Well-trained mental health counselors need extra training and books such as Dr. Losey's in order to succeed in this challenging, meaningful and multi-faceted calling. Couples therapists have a great ethical and professional resource in this well-structured guide."
Tony Fryer, marriage and family therapist/mediator in private practice, Cincinnati, Ohio
"Using an abundance of clinical examples as well as an array of creative techniques, strategies, and assessments, Dr. Losey has written a comprehensive text to help any therapist be more effective with the couples they treat. His approach to measuring outcomes is just what therapists and clients need to stay focused on goals and determine which interventions are the most helpful. This book should be on the shelf of every therapist who works with couples."
