Recenzii
'Finally, a truly comprehensive, global, and conceptually-rich account of the geography of creativity! Methodical, interrogative, accessibly written, logically organised, definitive – Hawkins surveys an immense and diverse field of scholarship on creative geographies, weaving into the mix her own intrepid and ideosyncratic research. Combining critical conceptual insight with fine ethnographic texture (and usefully illustrated with lots of case study 'boxes'),Creativity is essential reading for students and researchers across the social sciences and humanities. Demystifying the rhetoric surrounding creativity, but also brimming with hope for its mercurial, emotional and embodied qualities, this is a book that puts creativity firmly in its place.'
Chris Gibson, Professor of Human Geography, Australian Centre for Cultural Environmental Research, University of Wollongong, Australia
