A new method of production of high-temperaturedielectric crystals, includingcubic zirconia, glasses and melted ceramicmaterials, is discussed. The method is basedon direct induction melting in a coldcontainer. The physical fundamentals of thetechnology and equipment are described,and the possibilities and advantages of thenew technology are indicated.
