They have been stunned by the beauty of marine biodiversity and surprised at how alien and sentient marine life can be. They realize the fragility and the need for protection of marine ecosystems. In fact, divers are at the forefront of the battle to protect corals and marine sanctuaries. When divers arrive, dynamite and fishermen scraping the breeding grounds with their nets leave!
