Recenzii
’Brings common sense, practicality and forward thinking to a subject that is often shrouded in mystery and fear. An essential reference for anyone who wishes to protect their organisation from reputational and financial damage in today’s world.’ Nick Mann, Principal, Nick Mann Associates ’Cyber crime prophets of doom are everywhere, but where can a security-minded executive go for help developing a framework or policy for preventing wide-ranging cybercrimes? That’s precisely what this well-organised book delivers: a tactical (and jargon de-mystifying) guide to help an organisation systematically lower its cyber crime risks.’ Dan Baker, Editor, Black Swan Telecom Journal, USA 'For those that want a good and thorough technical introduction to the topic, in a book that won’t make you feel like a dummy, Cyber Crime, Security and Digital Intelligence is a good resource.' Ben Rothke, RSA Conference, USA
Descriere
Cyber crime is one of the main threats to the digital economy. From insider threats to complex distributed attacks and industrial worms, modern business faces unprecedented challenges. Cyber security and digital intelligence are the necessary responses to this challenge, yet they are understood by only a tiny minority of users and decision makers. In Cyber Crime, Security and Digital Intelligence, his second book on high technology risks, Mark Johnson goes far beyond enumerating past cases and summarising the requirements of data protection law, payment card industry or ISO standards. He focuses on how cyber crime has evolved and the nature of the very latest threats and confronts issues that have yet to be addressed by codified rules and practice guidelines. His book is supported by over 30 illustrations and many valuable tables, with non-technical explanations of how cyber attacks are executed, avoided and controlled.
