Caracteristici
'I had the idea for Death Comes to the Costa del Sol in the aftermath of Brexit. A bunch of British expats are desperate to stay in Spain. But an internet troll threatens to reveal their secrets and send them home. Only an outsider like Astrid can solve the case.' M.H. Eccleston.
Notă biografică
M.H. Eccleston has had a fairly meandering career - starting out as a radio presenter for the BBC, then staying at the Beeb as a journalist and producer for six years. After that, it's a bit of a blur - he spent a couple of decades, at least, freelancing as a foreign correspondent, TV presenter, sketch writer, voice-over artist and film critic. For the last few years, he's been a full-time screenwriter and now novelist. He lives in Ealing with his family, which is ruled by a mischievous Frenchie called George.
Recenzii
Quirky ex-pats, a feisty heroine, and suspense under the Spanish sun - what fun! Slather on the factor 50, pour yourself another glass of sangria, and dive in to the perfect holiday mystery.
The characters are charming, the setting is irresistible and the jokes are funny - just as we've come to expect from M.H. Eccleston.
Another excellent cosy mystery from MH Eccleston.... There is crime and grime aplenty for Astrid to investigate, to say nothing of the weird and wonderful people that she encounters while doing so.
PRAISE FOR THE TRUST: 'I romped through The Trust... A cosy debut set in a house brimming with secrets... An enchanting murder mystery' Janice Hallett, author of The Appeal. 'Intelligent and gently humorous, with a suitably eccentric cast of characters' M S Morris. 'A feisty heroine, an ingenious plot and a cast of quirky characters that soon feel like your best friends make The Trust a cozy crime to savour' Merryn Allingham. 'Macabre murders, quirky characters and delightful settings combine in a way that would make Midsomer proud'
