Notă biografică

When I was 13 years old my life changed. I had been athletic, honor roll-steady boyfriend-then in one split second my life changed. I was hit by a car and then in a coma for 31 days. The doctors gave my parents no sign of survival. I heard medical staff tell me that I would never get out of a wheelchair. That was all I needed to hear. I went from a wheelchair to a walker to a foot brace to a limp. It was from determination and faith. I went on to graduate San Francisco State University, then was a volunteer at Stanford Children's Hospital. Traveled through parts of Europe and the United States.I married then found out what abuse was, I left my then husband at 7 months of pregnancy-fearing for the life of our child.I love writing, reading, cooking, music, traveling, golf, being with friends, and most importantly my two German Shepherd dogs.I went from dreams of being an Entertainer, dancer/singer to the realization of what I could do. The road is hard but very rewarding. And I am so thankful the Lord's help in living everyday.
