Delight in the Lord

In 2009 Rev. Simone R. Coley, Esq. felt the call of God to leave her lucrative solo practice in Fairfield, Connecticut, to attend Princeton Theological Seminary. It was in seminary that she came to a true understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of true believers and God's free gift of grace.

This understanding caused her to fall even deeper in love with Jesus as she came to the knowledge that Christ's finished work at the cross was sufficient to give her eternal life and the current abundant life.

She believes that true joy and happiness is found in cultivating the eternal fruits of the Spirit and not on temporal worldly desires. Also, learning that God is not a man that He would change His mind, she began to bask in the assurance of her salvation. She came to understand that it is not about her works but God's grace (undeserved kindness) poured out lavishly to those in faith.

This book delves deeply into these and other Christian doctrines to highlight both to the churched and the unchurched that life as a child of God is truly delightful and blessed because Jesus' burden is light.
