William W. Goodwin (1831-1913) was Eliot Professor of Greek Literature at Harvard University. His many publications include 'A Greek Grammar', 'Greek Reader,' 'Plutarch's Miscellanies and Essays,' and 'Selections from Xenophon and Herodotus.'
