Textul de pe ultima copertă
The intention of this booklet is a brief but general introduction into the treatmentof the Finite Element Method (FEM). The FEM has become the leadingmethod in computer–oriented mechanics, so that many scientific brancheshave grown up besides over the last decades. Nevertheless, the FEM today isa question of economy. On the one hand its industrial application is forced toreduce product development costs and time, on the other hand a large numberof commercial FEM codes and a still growing number of software for effectivepre– and postprocessors are available in the meantime.
Caracteristici
Includes an extensive presentation of the necessary mathematical and mechanical foundations for treating nonlinear problems of elastostatics and dynamics with FEM Shows how to implement the equations of continuum mechanics into FEM Clear and detailed presentation of the space disretization methods enabling the reader to program his own models of materials and elements Includes supplementary material: sn.pub/extras
