Descriere
The purpose of this collection is to extend the focus of the debate about domination to the global level and to consider how other streams in political theory and nearby disciplines can enrich and expand upon the republican tradition’s contributions to the debate. The volume brings together research by leading republican scholars, critical theorists and liberals on conceptual, historical and institutional questions of cross-border domination, focusing on such problems as imperialism, racism and the subjection of indigenous peoples. Domination and Global Political Justice will be useful for political theorists, philosophers, historians, legal theorists and international relations scholars.
