Draw Me a Star

Autor Eric Carle
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 31 aug 1992 – vârsta de la 4 până la 7 ani
This is a story of an artist who, from his earliest years, draws. The artist draws a star! Then, the tree, house, flowers, clouds, rainbow, and night.

In drawing, he discovers not only his art, but his life. Holding on to his star, he creates a world of light and possibility.

With his brilliant collage, poignant and powerful in its simplicity, Eric Carle creates an unforgettable story that celebrates imagination and the artist in us all.

Descriere

Carle says this extraordinary book came from a memory and a dream. The memory was of his German grandmother showing him how to draw a simple star. In the dream, a bright shooting star picked him up and carried him across the night sky. The memory was the beginning of the story, and the dream was the end. The middle, he writes, was easy! Full-color illustrations throughout.
