Notă biografică
Weiping Huang obtained his doctorate from Dalian University of Technology in 1995. He worked as a postdoctoral at the College of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, from 1996 to 1998. He has worked as a professor of ocean engineering at Ocean University of China since 1998. He spent about one year at A & M University, USA, from 2005 to 2006. Among his current interests are the VIV and VIM of deepwater risers and floating structures, the hydrodynamics and analytic method of deepwater riser FSI.
Xuemin Wu obtained her doctorate from Ocean University of China in 2013. She worked at Qingdao Port from 2013 to 2019 as a senior engineer. She spent three years at post-doctoral research station of Ocean University of China from 2014 to 2017. She has been at Qingdao Agricultural University since 2019 as an associate professor of civil engineering. Among her current interests are the dynamic response of marine structures including offshore platforms, marine risers and foundation of offshore wind turbine, the dynamic analysis of building structure, the industrial modular design and modular shipping.
Liu Juan obtained her Master's degree in offshore engineering in 2003. She has been working at Qingdao Agricultural University since 2003 and obtained her doctorate in ocean engineering at Ocean University of China in 2013. During her PhD study and current working, she has been engaged in the research of ocean engineering, dynamic model and characteristics of deepwater riser.
Xinglan Bai obtained her doctorate from Ocean University of China in 2009. She was at the School of Engineering, Ocean University of China, from 2003 to 2009. She works at the School of Naval Architecture and Maritime, Zhejiang Ocean University, since 2009. She spent about one year at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 2013 to 2014. She has been at Zhejiang Ocean University since 2017 as a professor ofnaval architecture and ocean engineering. Among her current interests are the dynamic and fatigue analysis of deepwater riser, such as Steel Caternary Riser(SCR) and Top Tensioned Riser(TTR), including the pipe-soil interaction, global analysis of platform-riser-seabed, vortex induced vibration, coupling analysis of platform-mooring-riser, etc.
Textul de pe ultima copertă
This book demonstrates various types of deepwater risers with different motion equations and boundary conditions depending on their different structural configurations. It also discusses the hydrodynamic analysis methods of different deepwater risers. It provides new force and structure models in time and frequency domains of vortex induced force, including that for a downstream riser of the tandem riser, and the rigid oscillating model for steel catenary riser. The highlights of this book are the analysis methods of the rigid oscillating mode of steel catenary riser and the coupling iteration for top-tensioned riser with pipe-in-pipe configuration. This book is interesting and useful to a wide readership in the various fields of ocean engineering and offshore oil & gas development.
Caracteristici
Provides a comprehensive description of deepwater risers and their application in offshore oil & gas development as well as new models and methods for the hydrodynamic analysis of deepwater risers Addresses both the fundamental theories and methods on which the models and methods for the hydrodynamic analysis of deepwater risers based Describes the application of the models and methods in the hydrodynamic analysis of deepwater risers Discusses the problems which may be shown up in the application and the models different from those currently used
