Notă biografică
Paul Spencer Sochaczewski is an award-winning Geneva, Switzerland-based writer and writing coach. While at WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature International), Paul created global public awareness campaigns to protect rainforests and biological diversity, then later developed the WWF Faith and Environment program. Paul has lived and worked in more than 80 countries, including two decades in Southeast Asia. He has written more than 600 bylined articles on conservation, wildlife, orangutan intelligence, and social change for The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Travel + Leisure, CNN Traveller, Reader's Digest, and the Royal Geographical Society magazine Geographical. He has written 14 books on subjects ranging from golf (Distant Greens) and speaking with dead people (Dead, But Still Kicking) to a handbook on how to write your personal story (Share Your Journey). In addition, he has written about the nature of Borneo in Malaysia: Heart of Southeast Asia; served on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Indonesian Heritage Encyclopedia; and was project initiator for Tanah Air: Celebrating Indonesia's Biodiversity. He spent 40 years following the Southeast Asian trail of Victorian British naturalist and explorer Alfred Russel Wallace, who developed the Theory of Natural Selection and got usurped by Charles Darwin.
