Notă biografică
Editor of Statistical Complexity, Springer 2011 Professor Kalidas Sen (PhD, IIT-Kanpur) F.A.Sc., F.N.A. joined the University of Hyderabad in 1977 where he currently serves as the most senior professor. His collaborative research efforts in electronic structure theory with fellow scientists from Belgium, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Germany, Greece, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Spain, Turkey, UK and the USA have led to the publication of 8 monographs and 190 research papers in various prestigious international journals. A recipient of Humboldt, Commonwealth, Fulbright, and NSERC Canada Research Fellowship, he has recently been awarded the DAAD Research Professorship, Indo-US Professor of Physics of the American Physical Society, Visiting Fellowship of the Office of Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, and the J.C. Bose National Fellowship.
Textul de pe ultima copertă
The present volume is a collection of review articles highlighting the fundamental advances made in the area of spatially confined simple atoms and molecules with focus on their electronic structure. The contributed chapters are conjoined together to provide a standard reference book in this rapidly growing area of interdisciplinary research spanning chemistry, physics, computational quantum chemistry and material science.
