The desire to become a children's book author stems from her love of children from diverse backgrounds and the importance of instilling literacy. With her experience as an educator, Shontell commits herself to helping students be the best version of themselves despite any adversities. Shontell is a Florida native and enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and new experiences.
