Everything Is All Right

Autor Robert Hasley
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 20 mar 2023
Reflections on grace, gratitude, and the goodness of God in the final year of life. When pastor Robert Hasley was diagnosed with aggressive cancer - the cancer that would ultimately take his life - he did exactly what he had spent his life doing: writing words of encouragement about grace, gratitude, and the goodness of God. Everything Is All Right is a compilation of his writings during the last year of his life on earth. With profound wisdom and grounded humility, his meditations reflect the power of trust and surrender; the way faith can sustain us through struggle; the gift of everyday moments; and the joy of the small things. Whether you are looking back on your own life's journey or figuring out how to create a life of meaning, Robert's reflections will remind you what really matters in life and assure you of the love of Christ - the love that surpasses death. This book honors a life of faith well lived and reminds us that, in Christ, all of our stories end well.

Notă biografică

From his birth in Hope, Arkansas, and throughout his ministry, Rev. Robert Hasley's faith and worldview were shaped by key Christian relationships, including his wife, Sharon, his immediate family, the Highland Park and St. Andrew families of faith, and many good friends, all of whom have dedicated themselves to "doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God" (Micah 6:8). Robert led the St. Andrew Methodist community of faith and the larger community by offering the faith, hope, and love of Christ for over 35 years as the founding and senior pastor of St. Andrew. He continued to be active after his retirement and through the illness that led to his moving from "glory to glory" in 2022.
