It is 1953. Henry Mason claimed to have discovered a formula for instant bonding of bone fracture fragments. The monetary value of the substance is recognized by health organizations throughout the world. Driven by visions of huge profits, both the Kremlin and a Mafia-affiliated union in Chicago seek to acquire. Dissatisfied with the progress of the murder investigation, Sam Davis, M.D., a pathology resident, becomes involved in the devious turn of events even as he himself becomes a target for murder.
