Flame Of Adventure
Autor Simon Yatesen Limba Engleză Paperback – 3 iul 2002
As humans we have evolved over millions of years to live with uncertainty and danger. In the past, life was hazardous, an adventure to survive. As wealth increased, adventurers set out to explore the world. This exploration, and the resulting trade, started the economic development we continue to enjoy. In this sense, the foundations of our modern society were laid by adventurers. But have we lost our ability to change and adapt, our ability as adventurers? Simon Yates discusses this and the role adventure plays in our lives.
