Johannes Heil, Dr. habil. (2003), Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg, is Ignatz Bubis-Professor for History, Religion and Culture of European Jews. He has published monographs, edited books and articles on a broad range of topics in pre-modern Jewish history and the history of Jewish Christian relations, including Kompilation oder Konstruktion? Die Juden in den Pauluskommentaren des 9. Jahrhunderts(Hahn, 1998).
Sumi Shimahara, Ph.D. (2006), Université Paris Sorbonne, is Maître de conférences (Medieval History) at the Sorbonne Université – Faculté des Lettres. She has published a monograph, edited books and many articles on Carolingian culture, including Haymon d’Auxerre, exégète carolingien (Brepols, 2013) or Imago libri: Les représentations carolingiennes du livre, ed. with Charlotte Denoël and Anne-Orange Poilpré (Brepols, 2018).
