Notă biografică

Despoina Anagnostopoulou is an Associate Professor at the Department of International & European Studies at the University of Macedonia (Greece) since 2004 and at the Open University of Cyprus since 2016, teaching EU Law, Policies and Institutions. She also is the the Academic Coordinator of the Jean Monnet EU VaDis Project and holds the UNESCO Chair of “Intercultural Policy for an Active Citizenship and Solidarity” since 2014. Previously, Anagnostopoulou worked as a researcher at the Centre of International and European Economic Law (Greece)  for 11 years. She has been awarded the Jean Monnet Chair on "New Dimensions of EU Legal Studies" (2012-2015) and the UNESCO Chair of "Intercultural Policy for an Active Citizenship and Solidarity" since 2014. She has also been the Academic Coordinator of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence "Research on Crucial Issues of European Integration" at the University of Macedonia.
