Lucy A. Wakiaga is the Acting Director, Quality Assurance and Senior Lecturer in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Tangaza University College. She is a seasoned educator with over 25 years of global experience across the entire spectrum of K-16 education. Her doctorate is in Educational Administration & Policy. Her publications, scholarly and professional presentations, and interest are in the areas of education policy, education governance, school leadership, teacher training, pedagogy in higher education, quality of higher education, women in educational leadership and program evaluation.

This book provides deep insights about women in higher education and their contributions to society. Using Kenya as a case study, it places women in higher education at the center of the socioeconomic, political and cultural discourse both within and outside the higher education institution.
