Caracteristici

Microbial metabolic pathways have been dealt with in a simplified, easy to understand manner to maximally benefit the beginners (under-graduates and graduates) who do not have background of this domain. Their interest is further stimulated by some interesting facts, know-hows etc Every chapter has been written in a manner to enable post-graduate students understand how the basic subjects of physiology and metabolism integrate with the disciplines such as environmental microbiology, product biotechnology, pathogenesis, etc Researchers who wish to enter the field of metabolic engineering or pathogenesis will find this book interesting as selected case studies and techniques too have been incorporated, which will help them in understanding in a nutshell the basics of the subjects and the approach to strain development and drug targeting
