Recenzii
'Presenting her rich empirical research in an innovative analytical framework, Amanda Perry-Kessaris has produced a fascinating, highly original book. Ambitious, critical and thought-provoking, it will be of great interest not only to law and development specialists but also to readers more generally concerned with legal and social theory.' Roger Cotterrell, Queen Mary, University of London, UK
Descriere
Establishing a theoretical framework for exploring the role of host state legal systems (courts and bureaucracies) in mediating relations between foreign investment, civil society and government actors, this book demonstrates the application of that framework in the context of the south Indian city of Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore).
