Notă biografică
Donald Waters has over 30 years' experience of teaching and working in logistics and operations management. He is a member of the CILT, a visiting professor at universities including University of Calgary, Warsaw School of Economics, Czech Management Centre, University of Quebec at Montreal, University of Sheffield, Henley Management College and Edinburgh Business School and author of several well-known logistics books. Stephen Rinsler has extensive experience in the manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing sectors, covering the entire supply chain from procurement, forecasting, inventory management to warehousing and distribution operations. His senior management experience includes positions in Unilever (UK and European procurement and supply chains), Exel Europe. He has acted as a procurement and supply chain interim Director for a High Street retail group. He has designed, developed, negotiated and implemented large scale purchasing and outsourcing contracts in several industry sectors in the UK and across Europe. Stephen is a Director of Bisham Consulting, the immediate past Chairman of the Board and Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK), a Vice President and Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport International, a past chair of the CILT Supply Chain Faculty and a visiting Fellow of the Royal Military College of Science. He is an honorary Professor of Logistics and Engineering at the University of Nanjing, PR China.
