God, The Welder

Autor Brandt R. Schubbe
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 29 apr 2016
A deeply troubled man with a tragic past has lost his purpose in life. He struggles to regain that purpose as well as understand the meaning of past events, in the context of his increasingly disabled reality. God, The Welder takes the reader on a thought-provoking journey, as one man struggles to reconcile his religious beliefs with his troubled life in order to interpret his existence. In a mysterious and forbidden dark room, the protagonist, who is known only as Dad, loses his ability to speak at the hands of a man with a tattooed map on his face. As Dad's physical, metaphysical and spiritual journey progresses, a love for creative writing is rekindled and becomes a therapeutic and necessary communication tool. Through his journaling, he connects with a welder named George. Between his late wife and George, Dad is able to unravel a reality previously incomprehensible. Will Dad be able to recover and preserve his familial relationships before he progressively loses his senses?
