When working in biology, Gloria Piper missed art. When working in art, she missed biology. It took a bout of multiple chemical sensitivities to limit her to writing. At last here was a niche in which she felt old-clothes comfortable. At last she could indulge all her interests, from art and science to nature and spirituality, from reality to fantasy. Her most recent awards range from honorable mention to editor's choice for her science fiction and fantasy writing. Gloria Piper lives in Northern California with her three-legged English lab.
