He Knoweth the Way That I Take

Autor Kendra Ramsier
en Limba Engleză Hardback

Here's a peek at his childhood--an absent father, an abusive stepfather, a mother who walked miles for cleaning jobs. A bully and a poor student.

That was Bob Boltz, growing up in Wayne County, Ohio, in the early to mid-1900s.

Statistics would have predicted the following for the next stages of Bob's life: in trouble with the law, angry and hard-hearted, continuing the cycle of a dysfunctional family.

But not Bob. He became an adult who was known as a generous, hardworking, and faithful husband, father, and grandfather, all because Someone was watching. Someone cared. Someone called his name.

"But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold" (Job 23:10).

Notă biografică

Kendra Ramsier grew up in an Illinois farming community, enjoying country life and a Christian home. As a young child, she was an avid reader and would often entertain herself by weaving imaginary stories. During her high school years, after a futile search for fiction that encouraged her spiritually, she became motivated to write what would become her first novel. After college, Kendra moved to Ohio in 1997 to teach at a private school and also continued her writing hobby. She currently resides in Ohio with her husband Joe and their eight children. Kendra authored three fictional novels before focusing on helping others share the story of their lives. Her other books about real-life experiences include Stinging Nettle, The Lord Will Provide, Forsake Me Not, and The Privilege of Prayer.
