Jolynn Gardner earned her Ph.D. in Health Education from The Ohio State University. She previously served as the director of the Rothenberger Institute for Innovative Health Education at the School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, and is currently an assistant professor in the Health and Human Performance Department of the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Gardner is certified by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing as a health education specialist and by the American College of Sports Medicine as a health and fitness instructor. She has presented on health and wellness issues at regional, national, and international conferences and has authored book chapters, articles, and books on health, health promotion, stress management, grief, and other related topics.
