Ilha Niohuru earned her psychology degree from Smith College, USA. Her academic interest focuses on mental health and well-being. Her previous research topic includes self-perception, self-confidence, suicide prevention and acceptance and commitment therapy. In this book, she explores not only the healthcare system itself, but also other factors that influences healthcare workers, governments and patient’s decision making.
