Notă biografică
ELI RUCKENSTEIN, PHD, is Distinguished Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has published more than 900 scientific papers and received numerous awards, including the National Medal of Science and the National Academy of Engineering's Founders Award. His research has greatly contributed to our understanding of transport phenomena, thermodynamics of complex solutions, nucleation, catalysis, nanosystems, and surface phenomena. HAIYOU WANG, PHD, is Principal Engineer at Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies. Dr. Wang has been active in heterogeneous catalysis research for more than two decades. He has authored and coauthored more than fifty papers and holds more than twenty issued U.S. patents.
Descriere
Consolidating a collection of papers that Professor Eli Ruckenstein and his co-workers have published over the past four decades, Heterogeneous Catalysis Contributions to Experimental and Theoretical Studies addresses catalysts involved in reactions such as methane CO2 reforming, methane partial oxidation, and catalytic combustion.
