Notă biografică
Yun Zhang (M'13-SM'18) was born in Jiangsu, China. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2010. Subsequently, he joined the Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, as a Lecturer with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, where he is currently a Professor of Power Electronics. From Dec. 2016 to Dec. 2017, he was an Academic Visitor with the Power Electronics, Machines and Control (PEMC) Group at the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K.. His current research interests include topologies, modulation, and control strategies of power converters for electric vehicles, microgrids, and renewable energies. Dr. Zhang was selected as one of the 300 Innovating Talents in Tianjin, and one of the Peiyang Youth Scholars at the Tianjin University respectively in 2018. He is an Associate Editor of the JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS, and was also awarded as the Outstanding Dedication and Contribution Prize towards this journal in 2018.
Shenghan Gao was born in Anhui, China. She received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the North China University of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2018. She received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering and started working towards the Ph.D. degree in energy and power from the Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2021. Her current research interests include DC-DC converters and energy management of electric vehicles as well as photovoltaic systems.

Textul de pe ultima copertă
The book focuses on the topologies of non-isolated DC-DC converters with a wide voltage gain range for renewable energy systems. Both principles and engineering practice have been addressed, with more weight placed on principles. Each chapter presents a family of non-isolated DC-DC converters with advanced control methods for renewable energies. Modeling and experimental verification are also included to provide in-depth applications in fuel cell vehicles, electric vehicles with multi-sources, and photovoltaic systems. The book will benefit researchers, engineers, and graduate students in the fields of electric vehicles, photovoltaic systems, as well as electrical, and electronic engineering.
