How I Play Golf

Autor Tiger Woods
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 7 apr 2011
Since turning pro after a short stint at Stanford University, no one athlete has dominated their sport as Tiger Woods has dominated the world of golf. His list of achievements and championships would fill pages.

But how does he do it? InHOW I PLAY GOLF, through fabulous color photos, slow-motion photography, and plenty of text, Tiger talks about his drives, his putting, his chip shots, his mental approach to the game, and much more more. This is the complete instructional on how Tiger plays the game of golf.

Tiger shares his thoughts on what he calls the game for a lifetime. He reveals the five secrets he believes are responsible for his success -- a combination of physical, metaphysical, and psychological practices he uses daily to keep his game in top shape and to help him to transcend all the ups and downs of golf.

Not many can play golf as well as Tiger does, but at least we can read how we can try to improve our game. This one singular volume contains all the golf instruction that anyone would ever need.

Tiger Woods has had an unprecedented career since becoming a professional golfer in the late summer of 1996. He has won 105 tournaments, 79 of those on the PGA TOUR, including the 1997, 2001, 2002, and 2005 Masters Tournaments, 1999, 2000, 2006, and 2007 PGA Championships, 2000, 2002, and 2008 U.S. Open Championships, and 2000, 2005, and 2006 British Open Championships. With his second Masters victory in 2001, Tiger became the first ever to hold all four professional major championships at the same time. In winning the 2000 British Open at St. Andrews, Woods became the youngest to complete the career Grand Slam of professional major championships and only the fifth ever to do so. Tiger also was the youngest Masters champion ever, at the age of 21 years, three months and 14 days, and was the first African-American or individual of Asian heritage to win a major championship.
