Inside the Batter's Box
Autor Justin Coleen Limba Engleză Paperback
Inside the Batter's Box is a look at the lighter side of being a junior officer. There was Big Head Jim who ate anything we put in front of him, the sex professor stowaway, life inside the JO Jungle, and of course playing catch on the flight deck. The Navy is a serious business, but we still manage to find time to play. But how do you tell a Sailor he won't see his family for 9 months? How do you get excited to wake up every day and do the same thing- over and over again? How do you satisfy a lifelong craving for a sport when you don't see land for months? Oddly enough, baseball is the answer.
Broken up into short anecdotes from little league, high school, and summer camps, each chapter teaches a lesson about leadership- but more importantly about life. Ride along for a summer at sea and see what life is really like when you are haze gray and underway.

Notă biografică
Justin John Cole is a dedicated and selfless provider of support for those struggling to overcome various forms of psychological dependency. He also counsels those suffering from various manifestations of psychological disruption, including trauma, abuse, neglect, depression, and anxiety, which are the principal conditions of our mental health. The boundaries of his intentions for helping others are limitless. His purpose here is to help others connect with a higher sense of value in themselves. He certainly values curiously seeking knowledge but believes that the heart and intuition-the felt experience-and how the heart expresses itself through the mind are what allow an individual to treat themselves and others with love, holding the greatest value-the connection value, ultimately leading to their highest self-unlimited intelligence and divine potential.
Justin has a gift for encouraging and empowering others to discover and attain their truest purpose. He also retains extensive knowledge of various treatment modalities, from somatic techniques to spiritual and metaphysical understanding, including traditional 12-Step recovery. Additionally, he utilizes various questions related to early childhood experiences and the shadow work of processing psychological fear, challenging the psychological self to release its self-value back to the individual. Of particular use are trauma techniques such as polyvagal methods and energetic attunement techniques designed to calm the mind and bring a balanced relationship between mind and body sensations. But his greatest ally is building trusting connections with others in each present moment circumstance.
Justin also possesses knowledge of navigating the systems needed for an individual to find the most appropriate level of care based on their immediate needs. It can be extremely difficult and frustrating to acquire the network resources available to make a beginning at seeking change. There are also many fearful thoughts and uncomfortable sensations that arise when an individual begins to contemplate a decision to alter their current destructive course. He is all too familiar and empathetic towards these profound barriers. These surmountable obstacles do not need to inhibit someone from potentially pursuing meaningful and difficult change. Unfortunately, dependence in many forms still carries tremendous misunderstanding and stigma, yet he continues to navigate ways of superseding these unnecessary and avoidable system limitations. We must never lose faith! Getting a person the help they desire is always of greatest importance.
It can be difficult to understand the disruptive reasons our loved ones appear to be deciding to slowly kill the...
