Recenzii
’With increasing awareness of global environmental change, there is growing public concern regarding protection of environmentally sensitive areas at the local scale. This book will be welcomed by those with an interest in how planning can contribute to an environmentally sustainable future. With detailed guidelines and well documented case studies, the book makes a major contribution to the theory and practice of environmentally based planning and management.’ Professor Greg Hill, University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia ’Years ago in Poland, responding to real-life needs for 'buffering' external threats to national parks, a practical new method was developed and applied. In Australia, following extensive research and testing, its basic concept was evolved and embraced on a larger scale, while its initial assets were reinforced and consolidated. This book fills an essential gap in environmental planning theory and practice.’ Professor Stanislaw Juchnowicz, AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland
