Recenzii

'One of the things that makes this collection invaluable is that the contributors' expertise includes social science, ethics, theology and philosophy, and this multidisciplinarity enriches their approaches and the perspective of their articles. The overall purpose of Islam in the West can be summarised as exploring a deeper understanding of cultural diversity and mutual sensibilities, discussing the potential conflict points and triggers, and seeking platforms for positive and meaningful engagement.' - Erdem Dikici, University of Bristol, Network (The Magazine of the British Sociological Association)
"The book includes a range of contributors with particular areas of expertise from both Muslim and non-Muslim backgrounds.
Their essays speak to current social and political concerns related to Muslims in western societies that transcend their immediate
location and will be of considerable interest to a wide readership." - Journal of Church and State
