Kamernebti is a poet whose experience has included being with many poets who have been at the forefront of poetry. She has held poetry workshops and been a part of many; Louis Reyes Rivera, George Edward Tait, Abiodun Oyewole, LindaMichele Barron, Jackie Johnson, and Nikki Williams. The shared exchange of being able to absorb the expertise of poets who are experienced and willing to offer their skills to enhance others. She has written about the experiences of being able to tell a story through poetry that will drawn the reader to see a view of the world, the African American culture and the human realities of living.
