Harvey J. Hames, Ph.D. (1996) in History, University of Cambridge is a senior lecturer at Ben Gurion University, Beersheba. He has published extensively on medieval polemics including The Art of Conversion: Christianity and Kabbalah in the Thirteenth Century (Brill, 2000).
