Over the last 12 years, he has been working with leading procurement organizations across industries to generate savings, help streamline existing processes and incorporate new technologies and ideas. Here Wolfgang`s special focus has been on giving Procurement a wider mandate to enable significantly increased savings but equally strong improvements in innovation, sustainability, speed or quality. Wolfgang`s doctoral thesis applied the game theory to procurement negotiations, and showed the difference between face-to-face and digital negotiation set-ups. Based on his thesis he has built the AI Negotiation Coach as first solution bringing artificial intelligence to life in procurement. The big passions in his personal life are literature and running.
