Every family system has a significant influence on the development of children and adolescents during the socialization process. In business families, there are specific socialization conditions due to the close coupling of family and company. In the course of this individual socialization process, the child's resilience development takes place. Resilience is crucial for dealing with crises, challenges and stressful situations. Consequently, this resilience development in children and adolescents from business families is also influenced by the co-existence of family and business. In order to be able to shape resilience-promoting socialization, parents from these family systems must be educated about system-specific protection and risk factors and how to handle them accordingly.
