Abby's leukemia disables her body from functioning properly at times; however, it enables her natural curiosity, bravery, and empathy far beyond her years.
As Abby receives treatment, she dreams of her favorite storybook character, King Joey. Along her journey to recovery, Abby accompanies King Joey on a magical geographic adventure. She is introduced to new meaningful friendships and an array of music and dance genres.
