Notă biografică

Usually, when one approaches retirement age, they think of travel, relaxing and other leisure things. However, not Renee Barnes. After nearly forty years as an interior designer, art teacher, wife, mother, grandmother and now a great grandmother, she has turned her energies to writing and illustrating children's books. Her series "Tales from the Evergreen Wood," is just the start. Not satisfied with one or two books, she has written ten books for this series alone. Her little heroine, a green frog with a bright yellow hat and her pals take us through a journey of adventures and laughter. With no plans to stop, she has illustrations for additional books including fairies, elves, gnomes and under water adventures with "William the Polka Dot Fish." Her stories and art are have realistic features as well as a well developed imagination.
