Recenzii
From the book reviews:
“The book published under the patronage of International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG) is an invaluable gift to the geoscientific community of India in particular and to the world in general. The editor has done a meticulous job of selecting geoscientists who are eminent in their own fields and well versed with landscapes and landforms about which they have written in their respective article.” (K. N. Prudhvi Raju, Journal of the Geological Society of India, Vol. 84, 2014)

Textul de pe ultima copertă
The proposed monograph on 'Geomorphological Landscapes of India' will aim to describe and explain in simple words the geomorphological characteristics and the origin of the above-mentioned landforms and landscapes. The proposed monograph will provide the background information about the geology, climate, and tectonic framework of the Indian region, as well as cover Indian climates of the present and the past. It will mainly cover the four main morpho-tectonic regions of India and about 15-20 distinct landforms of the Indian region as well as the major geomorphosites in India.
Caracteristici
So far, there is no book or publication that provides information of the major landforms and landscapes in India The book will provide information about Indian landscapes and landforms in simple terms and will be supported by maps and colour photographs The proposed book will appeal to people in other fields such as geology, ecology, environmental sciences, tourism, archaeology etc Includes supplementary material: sn.pub/extras
