Recenzii
The essays cover a broad range of topics-everything from exorcism to Shari'a-and also involve a variety of jurisdictions . the standard across the board is high. The editors obviously chose material carefully and the essays that made the final cut are well-researched and interesting.
[T]he collection is a valuable contribution to every comparative law scholar's bookshelf. It provides us with a glimpse of the uneasy relationship between religion and modernity in jurisdictions other than our own.
Jahid Bhuiyan and Darryn Jensen are to be commended for producing this most stimulating and wide-ranging anthology by accomplished scholars in the field.
