Lonesome Traveler

Autor Jack Kerouac
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 16 mai 2023
  • Grove is reissuing Lonesome Traveler following the centenary year celebrations of Kerouac’s birth with a new cover matching our new Kerouac series design.
  • Kerouac’s centenary offers new opportunities for publicity and promotion that we will undertake in tandem with Kerouac’s other publishers. Major retrospective features are planned for print, television, and radio, with expectations to feature the stories and memories of those who knew Kerouac. Bookstores are also interested in hosting virtual panel conversations on Kerouac. We are also considering  advertising on Literary Hub, as well as features on new and unseen work by and about Kerouac.
  • We will consider academic and course adoption opportunities for our Kerouac backlist titles and are additionally looking into reissuing the rest of the backlist with new covers as well.

Notă biografică

JACK KEROUAC was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1922. He won a scholarship to Columbia University, where he first met Neal Cassady, Allen Ginsberg, and William S. Burroughs. On the Road, published in 1957, epitomized to the world what became known as the “Beat generation” and made Kerouac one of the most best-known writers of his time. Publication of many other books followed, among them The Dharma Bums, The Subterraneans, and Big Sur. He died in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1969.
