Lonnie the Loon learns he must leave his home lake because of the cold winter in the north. While flying south, Lonnie is blown off course and ends up on a desert lake. He forms a friendship with an unlikely character, a Quail. Quincy the Quail teaches Lonnie about his home for the winter. The reader is able to listen to the calls and sounds of the desert animals using a QR Code Reader App.
