The Queen's Treasure is the first young adult book in a six-part Hawaiian Adventure Series of eight-year old Lucy Tuppins and her discoveries in the Sandwich Islands in 1828. The daughter of a missionary, her adventures take her through a paradise of lava tunnels, tropical jungles, and an encounter with the secret Menehune people while she stumbles upon the most unlikely clues to a thief's identity. She wants to explore the villages and valleys, but her father keeps Lucy tightly supervised and away from the Islanders.
