Notă biografică

John Misto is an award-winning writer for television and stage. His plays have been produced throughout Australia and internationally, and include Harp on the Willow (for which he won the 2002 Rodney Seaborn Playwrights' Award), Gossamer, Sky and The Shoe-horn Sonata, which won Best Play at 1996 NSW Premier's Literary Awards. It also won the 1995 'Australia Remembers' National Play Competition. John also writes for television. His credits include Heroes' Mountain - The Rescue of Stuart Diver, which won the Gold Plaque Award for Best Feature Length Telefilm Drama at the 2002 Chicago International Film Festival, was the first Australian telemovie ever to be purchased by the US Cable Network, Showtime, and was the most critically acclaimed and award-winning Movie for Television produced by Sony Television International.
